Here is the second session working with Fil Woodhouse to release her phobia of deep, dark water, and what a roller-coaster of a regression session it is! She experiences three past lives as well as some ancestral trauma she's inherited from her mother's life and also a scene of great sadness from her own lifetime.

Although Fil shares quite a lot of narrative as she moves through each scene, the main process is to allow her body to release the traumas by feeling them emotionally and kinaesthetically. The noises you can hear are from her hand agitatedly tapping on the chair as she felt the emotions as well as from her body moving in the chair as she re-experienced the feelings of fear and upset.

I sometimes have to ask Fil to repeat her words as she speaks quietly and although the mic picked up what she was saying I didn't; also I often repeat Fil's words back to her to intensify the experience for her. She shows real courage in moving through the traumatic events but feels much easier and freer at the end.

This is a simple to learn yet very effective breathing technique that can help reduce anxiety and IBS. Once learned, all you have to do is practice it throughout the course of each day and allow your body to experience a state of calmness that will help you to feel more relaxed and at ease. This breathing technique should be used alongside the recordings here on Hypno4all which constitute an effective system of reducing the symptoms of IBS.

Banish IBS Breathing Technique for IBS and Anxiety with Steve Burgess

This short introductory video by Hypnotherapist Steve Burgess, gives you more info about how to use the Hypnotherapy for IBS programme here on Hypno4all.

Hypnotherapy has been proven to be extremely effective at reducing Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms. Although the best approach is to see a competent therapist to work on the underlying emotional causes of IBS, playing hypnotherapy recordings filled with positive suggestions and visualisations really can help as it re-programmes the mind to make changes in the body. Before you play the four IBS recordings that are here on Hypno4all (Banish IBS 1 - 4) , I recommend playing the following recordings first, in the following order: 1: Total Relaxation; 2: Become More Confident; 3: Heal Past Hurts. Each of these seven recordings in this IBS protocol needs to be played regularly - at least several times per week to gain the maximum benefit. You can either play each recording for several weeks before you move on to the next one (finally finishing with the four IBS recordings for several weeks each), or can play each recording in the protocol consecutively as a cycle over and over. This IBS programme can help you to release IBS from your body and get your life back.

Banish IBS Introductory Video with Steve Burgess

Lucid dreaming is when your brain knows that you’re in a dream, so it’s possible to control the dream. When you have a lucid dream you become aware of yourself, and the fact that you’re dreaming. In this dream state you can make decisions, explore and control the dream-world.

It’s said that its been used for thousands of years by Tibetan monks and other cultures as well, but more and more people around the world have started learning it over the years and it has grown in popularity in recent times.

The aim of this recording is to help you develop the ability to lucid dream and have positive dream experiences in your sleep. I recommend playing the recording regularly to influence your subconscious to create the right conditions for you to lucid dream. It is best to play the recording earlier in the day rather than at bedtime as there’s a chance that you’ll fall asleep to the recording and not receive the benefits of it. Also, if you play it in the early evening you may be best to sit up and play it rather than lay down so you reduce the chance of falling asleep.

It’s not recommended for you to practice lucid dreaming if you have mental health problems. If you feel any confusion or uncertainty about whether or not lucid dreaming is safe for you, ask your doctor or mental health professional for advice.

Inner Power Positive Affirmations - Free Hypnotherapy recording with Steve Burgess

The modern science of psycho-immunology considers that the mind and body are inseparable, and studies how the mind affects the immune system and the central nervous system. Hypnotherapy uses the power of the subconscious mind (the 99.999% of the mind) to affect changes in the body. Every thought that we have creates physiological effects and by tapping into the creative talents of the subconscious it’s possible to harness the healing power of the mind.

This recording uses two types of visualisations: aggressive and passive. If you prefer only to use passive visualisations, during the sections of the recording in which you’re invited to use the aggressive imagery either let your mind drift off and relax, or give yourself some positive affirmations (eg ‘my body is healing’, ‘I am strong’ etc) or create images of how you’d like to be in the future (and do your best to feel good feelings as you do this).

Boost Your Self-Esteem - Free Hypnotherapy recording with Steve Burgess

The use of hypnosis is becoming more and more well-established in maternity hospitals around the world as it is so easy to do and so effective. There are a range of benefits, including reducing or eliminating fear; speeding up the birth process; reduction of medication and the promotion of a speedier recovery.
It's also a much gentler experience for the baby. In the early months of pregnancy it's best to play the 'Hypnosis for Total Relaxation' recording here on Hypno4all; then start playing this recording during the last 3 months of pregnancy.

It is very important though, when you play this recording, that you only visualise the birth process taking place perfectly well without feeling any physical feelings of the birth itself. It is OK to feel happiness, joy, love etc as you play the scene of the birth in your mind's eye, but not any physical feelings. If this happens you must take control and pull away from feelings and just visualise the birth on the TV screen, or even just let go of the recording and count yourself up and out of hypnosis.

One thing I always do when working with clients who come to me to use hypnosis for childbirth is to emphasise the use of positive words whilst you're giving birth, so for example I don't like the word 'contractions' as it sounds negative - I use 'waves of power' instead.

I sincerely hope that this recording helps you to give birth more easily by using the power of your sub-conscious mind.

This recording can help you to smoke smoking very quickly, with a real chance of no side effects. You need to play it every day for 2 – 3 weeks at the same time as either cutting down the numbers of cigarettes you smoke each day or stopping completely (stopping immediately is not advised if you’re smoking 60+ each day; if that’s the case you need to reduce gradually as you listen to the recording). It’s also wise to drink more water each day whilst you are stopping, and reduce caffeine consumption as drinking caffeine (coffee, tea, sports drinks etc) makes it harder to stop.
